Brendan Mackey is the director of the Climate Change Response Program at Griffith University, based on Australia’s Gold Coast, with expertise including terrestrial carbon dynamics, the interactions among climate change, biodiversity, and land use, and the role of science in environmental policy and law. His current research is focused on coastal zone adaptation in the Pacific, information and knowledge management for adaptation and resilience planning, and the assessment and valuation of primary forest.
