Donation FAQs

How can I support Project Drawdown?

Thank you for asking! We hope you will read, share, discuss, and build on our work and join the growing Drawdown community. If you would like to make a donation, please use our secure online form.

To contact us through the mail, please write to Project Drawdown at 27 Gate 5 Road, Sausalito, CA 94965

Is Project Drawdown a nonprofit?

Yes, we are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our most recent IRS 990 Form can be found here, as well as additional information about our nonprofit status. If your employer matches your donations to 501(c)(3) organizations, Project Drawdown is eligible to receive matching gifts.

What do donations support?

Because Project Drawdown is a small organization, each donation makes a big difference. Donations directly fund our work to accelerate the knowledge and growth of what is possible:

  • Researching and modeling the world’s most substantive solutions to global warming
  • Bringing insights and analysis to life through mediums including the book Drawdown and our digital platform
  • Building a coalition of individuals and institutions committed to achieving Drawdown (that point in time when the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere begins to decline on a year-to-year basis)

Who else supports Project Drawdown?

We are lucky that many supporters give of their time, talent, and resources to Project Drawdown. We receive financial support from individuals, foundations, and companies that believe in our mission.

How will Project Drawdown handle my personal information?

Donations are made through a secure form, and we will not share your personal information.
