Is Project Drawdown a nonprofit organization?
Yes, we are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our most recent IRS 990 Form can be found here, as well as additional information about our nonprofit status. If your employer matches your donations to 501(c)(3) organizations, Project Drawdown is eligible to receive matching gifts.
What do donations support?
Project Drawdown is a small organization, so each donation makes a big difference. Donations directly fund our work to accelerate the knowledge and growth of what is possible:
- Researching and modeling the world’s most substantive solutions to global warming
- Bringing insights and analysis to life through a variety of media including the book Drawdown and our digital platform drawdown.org
- Building communities of individuals and institutions committed to achieving Drawdown (that point in time when the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere begins to decline.)
Who else supports Project Drawdown?
